American Accounting Association, Its First 50 Years—1916–1966

Beginning with a December 1915 meeting at which a small group of accounting teachers proposed creating a professional organization that would help them share experiences and ideas on instructional matters, this volume describes the subsequent development of the American Accounting Association over the next 50 years and how that development paralleled changes in accounting and accounting education in the United States.
